This small, elegant oceanfront Inn is unique to the New Hampshire seacoast. D.W's Oceanside Inn was built as a private home in the early 1900's. Over the years it has undergone many changes, but the original home-like atmosphere has been carefully maintained as its most distinctive feature. Its combination of elegance, the staff's attention to detail and the quiet, comfortable atmosphere are truly appreciated by many guests who return year after year.
Our Inn overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful sandy beaches. Each of the nine guestrooms is tastefully and individually decorated, many with period antiques, and all with private baths, air-conditioning and telephones. The intimate breakfast room offers a romantic place to enjoy a complimentary breakfast featuring homemade bread & pastries. The Oceanside is located in a less congested part of Hampton Beach but is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops & other attractions. The historic seacoast towns of Portsmouth, NH to the north and Newburyport, Massachusetts to the south are less than a 15 minute drive either way, while Boston is less than an hour's drive south. The innkeepers, Duane (Skip) & Deb Windemiller, have owned the Oceanside Inn for over 25 years.
